The latest video by Santogold for the song 'Lights Out' recently caught my eye whilst at the gym - it was a lovely distraction from the treadmill! It features a gorgeous array of prints from zebra to plaid to hawaiian to peacock feathers. Love it! very inspiring.

William Tempest Rocks!
British Designer William Tempest recently caught my eye on an episode of Britain's Next Top Model. I love his edgy designs and his simplistic yet striking use of colour (particularly in his 2010 collections). The combination of different fabrics is also really interesting and adds depth and glamour to his designs.

My Degree Show

LCA Graduate Fashion Show 2010
Last night I attended the stunning fashion show that featured degree work by my fellow students at Leeds College of Art. The standard was incredible and there were some really amazing designs on the catwalk. The fabrics used ranged from the traditional to the more unconventional such as kite material, and the styles from sportswear to high-art glamour (see the gold 'tubes' dress below). All in all it was a fantastic show!

DVF - Queen of fashion
In the seventies she created the "wrap" dress and since then she has produced many inspiring collections. I love her work and am always interested in her latest designs, particularly any unusual prints or embellished garments.
My aim is to one day be given the chance to work for her. She is my fashion hero (pardon the cliche).

Hanna Werning
I have recently discovered the work of Illustrator and designer Hanna Werning. Like me, she takes a lot of inspiration from nature and I particularly like her fashion prints.
